We are proud to support our volunteer Steve Hayes as he prepares for an extraordinary challenge with the Tri4Life team.
Steve, together with fellow Tri4Life member Liam Hanlon, has already successfully summited Mount Everest and Kilimanjaro. They are now taking on Aconcagua, another of the famed Seven Summits, all while raising vital funds for Southport Lifeboat.

Aconcagua stands at 6,961 metres and is the highest peak in the world outside the Himalayas. Its extreme altitude, severe temperatures and demanding terrain make it one of the toughest mountaineering tests anywhere in the world.
The Tri4Life team is well known for pushing themselves to the limits in support of causes that matter. Having already completed major expeditions, they are now deep into planning for what promises to be another remarkable test of endurance, resilience and teamwork. This climb is being undertaken in remembrance, in friendship and with a shared commitment to making a positive impact.
We are incredibly grateful that Steve has chosen to dedicate this challenge to supporting our independent lifeboat service. Every donation raised will help us continue our work protecting those who need us along our coastline.
We will be following Steve’s progress closely and sharing updates as the expedition unfolds.
